What better way to spend time together than sharing a good-natured fright or two? That's exactly what you'll find as we approach Halloween in Savannah - tons of family-friendly ways to celebrate the spooky spirit of the season. From hair-raising classical concerts and creepy history lessons, to costumed pet parades and trick-or-treating in the wild, there's a monstrous selection of festive things to do everywhere you turn all month. Here are a few of our favorites, just minutes from our downtown Historic District hotel:

A Classical Halloween

Lucas Theatre for the Arts

Scare up some culture at this special concert from Savannah Philharmonic, guaranteed to make your skin crawl in the very best way. Notable compositions include Hermann's Psycho Suite, and the Harry Potter Symphonic Suite by John Williams. Tickets range $16-$75.

Stranger Than Fiction: An Exploration of the Extraordinary in Old Savannah
