A Georgia Beer & Harvest Festival in Savannah
Rousakis Riverfront Plaza
115 E. River Street
November 6th, 4-10pm
November 7th, 10am-10pm
A monthly tradition on our historic waterfront, First Fridays & Saturdays are a favorite affair for locals and visitors alike to look forward to on River Street. This November, we celebrate Peach State pride with the Georgia Harvest Festival. Savannah is the perfect place to host such a seasonal soirée - especially on the 200-year-old cobblestone of scenic River Street, where it's easy to imagine people doing much the same thing centuries ago.
Yoga & Fireworks on the River
Harvest Fest kicks off with local food trucks, artists, and live country music on Rousakis Plaza's Arbor Stage at 4 pm on Friday, followed by a FREE one-hour yoga class at 8:15 pm. Fireworks color the river thereafter at 9:30 pm, making for a magical end to the evening. But the fun doesn't stop there!
Hopped Up On Georgia Brews
It wouldn't be a proper weekend party without beer! And that's exactly what "Hopped Up On Georgia Brews" provides. Along with the usual selection of super-tasty Savannah food trucks and carts, live music, artists and vendors from across the state, this month's First Saturday embraces the spirit of Harvest Fest with 20+ of the best breweries in the state. Admission is $10 (ten tastes), or $40 for all-inclusive VIP access. According to the experts at BeerAdvocate, a couple you'll want to be sure to try include:
- Creature Comforts Brewing Co. - Home to 3 of the Top-10 ranked beers in GA, including #1 ("See the Stars," Russian Imperial Stout), and #2 (Tropicália, American IPA).
- Burnt Hickory Brewery - Sample "The Didjits Blood Orange IPA" and "Big Shanty Graham Cracker Stout" if they have them on tap!
