Colorful Grown-Up Halloween Things to Do in Savannah
Candy, pumpkin patches, hayrides, and haunted houses - everyone knows kids LOVE this time of year. But what about the adults? Thankfully for you, Savannah Halloween events run the gamut from kid-friendly to happenings best left to the grown-ups. So get yourself a babysitter, put on your favorite costume, and summon your favorite ghosts and goblins to join you for these festive treats on Halloween night:
The Nightmare on Congress Street
The Rail Pub
405 W Congress St
Just $15-$20 enlists you in the legion of costumed marauders converging on Savannah's most haunted throughway for the pub crawl event of the year (souvenir goblet and koozie included!). Designed so you can party at your own pace, participants are welcome to a special menu of discount drinks for $4 or less at Congress Street bars, with a commemorative t-shirt awarded to the first 250 "crawlers" to hit all participating venues (no drinking required). There's also a costume contest with $1,000 for the most incredible ensemble, $400 for second place, and $100 for third.
Halloween Moonlight Cruise
Savannah Riverboat Cruises
9 East River Street
While you might want to enjoy this late-night cruise with someone special (and we highly recommend it!), it's actually a family-friendly affair. Onboard, passengers enjoy a live DJ, costume contest, and Halloween drink specials at a cash bar. It's the perfect way to relax at the end of the holiday while soaking in (or howling at) the almost-full moon.
