A new museum has recently opened in Savannah. The Webb Military Museum, located in Historic Downtown Savannah, features military artifacts from the American Civil War to Desert Storm.
The Museum is all about military history and is a collection of artifacts collected by Gary Webb. The museum is based on people and their stories. The select items are featured in the museum each has a story to tell. When you have completed your tour of the museum, you should leave feeling as though you know all about the individuals who wore the uniforms, hats, and medals.
In addition to small artifacts, the museum also houses a Russian-made MiG fighter plane from East Germany and several other odd items including napkins from Hitler's mountain retreat, Berghof and a uniform that belonged to Saddam Hussein.
